Dear Bulbs

Dear Bulbs,

Stop growing. It's January. Duh.

Sincerely,

Liz

I have seen the snow crocus...maybe we have a early spring coming.

Wow! I've been looking at my yard thinking the same thing, but my bulbs aren't actually blooming. The green is just peeping up. I guess that's the difference between Indiana and Arkansas. Also, I'm worried we'll have a bad cold snap and then I won't get any flowers. That would be sad.

Just the teeny tiny tips of my bulbs are starting to come up! I'm really excited because when we moved into this house I *thought* there might be bulbs but then landscapers came through and weeded out the flowerbeds and I thought they might have taken out the bulbs- guess not! :D

LOL! Yes I noticed three crocus blossoms today in my front yard.

We have a severely confused japanese cherry tree in our front yard that currently has blooms- and has had blooms since we planted it last July. Based on my track record with plants, I can only assume we bought a fake tree and planted it.

Yep. In South Carolina, the tree frogs are chirping & my daylily leaves are poking up out of the ground. Nature is very confused here this winter!
