Our Little Operatic Falcon

I'm pretty sure a career in opera singing (soprano 1) may be in Jane's future for several reasons.

1. She freezes when she hears music. Every muscle in her body grows very still and her head starts whipping around trying to find the source. She loves it. When she was a baby and had colic the only thing that quieted her was Aretha Franklin and Debussy. Go figure.

2. She has the highest pitched voice I've ever heard. It's melodic and song-like. Our house is full of "lalalalalalalalababababab" baby songs every moment she's awake. Sometimes the pitch is so high it actually hurts. The sound travels straight through my right eyeball and embeds itself into the back of my brain. But even then it makes me smile.

Living with Jane is like living with an operatic Falcon on helium.
I love her so.

Cute. My baby sings too, but thankfully not so loudly.

I remember my daughters squealing sooo loudly when they were young. Now they are teenagers. Sass has replaced the squeal. :)
Your Jane is beautiful. I am so happy God gave her to you.
Thanks for sharing her with us too!

Awesome post!!! Our boys are very loud. One is more sing song than the other. They do both scream when they are mad, LOL. We're working on the last one. I tell them it gives Mommy boo-boos in her head.
